We did have a covering of snow on the first, but not enough to get a making of snow cream. It melted so fast and we’re so glad it did, except for the snowman near the other end of our road that the kids built. I think they said it was still there last Thursday morning. We did see some sleet last Friday morning but none laid around here. I saw on the local TV news, it challenged many drivers in Huntsville and Athens.

I don’t know about the groundhog’s prediction of an early spring. It sure has been cold the last week except for the weekend, when the afternoons did warm nicely. The mornings were still cold. Won’t be long till the gardening will get into full swing again.
