Christians Helping Others (CHO) Food Panty had a very good year in 2006 because of the generosity of the participating churches, local organizations and entertainment groups and individual families. We are deeply grateful to each one for all their support.

We especially want to express our appreciation to the Bob Paysinger family for requesting donations be made to CHO in his memory. Because of their kind gesture CHO received 31 generous donations which will allow us to better meet needs in Ardmore and surrounding communities.

The New Year also started out well with a benefit singing sponsored by Elkton Baptist Church, Elkton United Methodist Church, Pleasant Hill Methodist Church and Wheelerton Baptist Church. We thank each one of these churches for this extra support, as well as the Calvarymen and Driven for their great singing. These groups gave freely of their time and talent to assist us in helping others, and we thank them very much.

Also participating in the benefit by giving a generous donation was Farmers Indian Creek Missionary Baptist Association.

We appreciate their help and hope it is the beginning of a continuing relationship with CHO.

Thanks again to everyone. Continued support of all the churches and our communities is requested.
